WHAT WE DO

Our mission is to deliver compelling films that inspire, touch hearts, and motivate audiences to engage in the issues that affect us all, and in so doing contributing to a better world. Wherever possible, we strive to create social action campaigns to benefit the causes featured in our films. Dream Out Loud Productions, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, dba DOL FILMS, was founded in 2006.

Do You UBUNTU?

Ubuntu (uu-boon-tuu) is a Nguni Bantu term roughly translating to “human kindness.” It is a philosophy from the Southern African region and is often translated as “Do unto others, as you would have them Do unto you.”

Hand-crafted Ubuntu bracelets, black and varying metal trim,  made by local artisans from natural sustainable materials.

Our hand-crafted Ubuntu bracelets come in a variety of styles, and are made from natural, sustainable materials by woman crafters living with HIV/AIDS. All proceeds help to better the lives of orphans in South Africa.

Donations currently provide direct support for Tom Ro Haven, featured in our upcoming film “Animals Are Talking”.

Tom Ro Haven is a registered non-profit providing sanctuary and rehabilitation for abused and neglected horses in Noordhoek, Cape Town. These horses become part of equine-assisted healing programs, supporting children and young adults who have experienced trauma, offering them connection, trust, and hope.
